Q.Q. Song
Book Talk
Reader's Workshop
HW RJ 5.1 Read/Record for 20 - 30 min.
The class started off with Ms. Nakada reading her blog, which lead to me being the next blogger. Shortly after that, the class went over the quote which was "You get tough like me and you don't get hurt. You look out for yourself and nothin' can touch you." The class also went over the the question of the week that was: how should you/parents handle a bad progress report card. After that, the class listened to the song of the week called "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman. We discussed what message the song had and our favorite line.
Then, the class talked about the HW and how it was supposed to be done tonight. While the class was doing reader's workshop, Ms. Nakada started recording books that people choose to read. Shortly after that, the bell rang, and the class ended.
