So, class started with everyone going to their seats and writing in their agenda. Jessie was so nice and gave me the heads up that Nikita might actually pick me for the blog (Thank you Jessie), and she did, with the help of the class vote. Ain't that fun. So, we corrected Nikita's blog, and she had made very few mistakes. Good job! You get a gold star.

Ms. Nakada had us share our reading journals, and Jonathan did his summary for the first time in forever! But there is a plot twist, three other people didn't do their journal. Thanks a lot. Anyway, getting off topic here. We have some tea about Chapter 7 of The Outsiders. Johnny breaks his back and is crippled forever. Sandy (Sodapop's Girlfriend) is pregnant and moved to Florida because her parent's won't allow Soda to marry Sandy because of Soda's age. Ponyboy has this nightmare every single night, and he "Can't remember what the nightmare is about." So, after a Blue Mustang pulls up to the Tasty Freeze, but the Socs only want to talk, no fighting. That is when Pony realizes that Socs are human and vulnerable.

So, we used some Post-it notes in our book to highlight key points in the plot, and added " Elements of Plot" in our English notebooks. Before we get into that, we talked about back to school night, which is tonight! Tomorrow we get to go to the Book Fair. Let's get back to the Elements of Plot. We took Cornell Notes and Ms. Nakada told us how Mr. Hastings needs straight lines in his Cornell Notes. Lineist or Curveist. Mr. Perfectionist. Whatever. After that, we took Cornell Notes about Elements of Plot and did a plot line for any of the chapters in The Outsiders. Then, we sit here and read for reader's workshop, while I sit here fixing any notable mistakes, so I better not have any. Or, at least very little.  So, overall I hope you brought your money for the book fair today, and Jessie come on up as you will do today's blog. Well, tomorrow as I am writing this one day before.

At the last minute a bunch of people asked me to be put in the blog. I am not naming names.
