Summer Passports due Monday, August 26

Class began with Payton reading his first blog, and he picked me to do the blog next. Typical. 

After, everyone then proceeded to find any small mistakes that he may have made.

When that was done, we then showed Ms. Nakada the chapter two summary of The Outsiders.

Then, shared them with our table partners.

After that, we began to take Cornell notes on that chapter, thinking about the big ideas in chapter two.

A few minutes later, everyone then started to ask questions on chapter two of The Outsiders.

We finished taking notes; then, the class started reading for Reader's Workshop for 20 minutes. Besides me, of course.

When Reader's Workshop was over, Ms. Nakada gave everyone some advice about the summaries, telling then that if you left something out of it, just add more before it gets graded.
